She stared and stared and stared at the packet of papers in front of her. Her features shaped with a look of disbelief, she leafed through the divorce settlement, over her music. She was unbelievebly angered by her ex husband. She wrote the material, just because he wrote one fucking chord or two gave him no right to own the whole song and their lyrics. They were her's. Gavin sighed loudly, leaning forward and resting her head on the cool table of the small one on her bus. She inhaled deeply, trying to calm herself down. "Why me?" She groaned as she just banged her head lightly a few times and picked her head up, feeling the tears well up in her eyes. She used the back of her hand to furiously wipe at her dark eyes. She would not cry. She was glad no one was on the bus to see her like this. She was so pissed though. It was a off day for Gavin, her mood was at a low and she couldn't help but feel extremely upset about this whole thing. Inhaling again, she stood up and grabbed the sunglasses from her bunk, sliding them on over her eyes, so no one could tell that she was almost crying. She was sure her eyes were red though, no doubt. She had rubbed them pretty hard.
Gavin walked back into the lounge and pulled on her tall black boots, grabbing her purse and stuffing a towel, her song writing journal. She stopped and looked at the guitar case in the corner, holding her own acoustic guitar. Sighing, she grabbed the handle and threw her phone and ipod into her bag and the divorce papers, deciding that if she was to sign them she might as well do it some where she was at peace. She had no idea where she was going but she needed peace and quiet and to be away from people. She made her way back to the front and opened the small mini fridge, pulling out a bottle of water and adding it to the bag. She was packed and ready. She made sure her phone was fully charged so if she was needed she would be there. Although, she didn't expect someone to come looking for her unless something went terribly wrong, then again, on this tour. She never knew. She grabbed her keys from off the hook too and made her way out to the car that the bus towed, thank god too. Gavin would hate walking every where. Loading her things into the back, she started the old cherry red mustang and took off, pulling out of the tour bus parking lot. She turned up the radio, blasting Emarosa. Her hands tightly gripping the steering wheel as she turned down some random road and then another, coming up to a open field. She stopped and got out, looking a the flowers and tall grass. She sighed, perfect.
Grabbing everything out of the car, She dropped her stuff down lightly and pulled her boots off. Sitting down on the grass, She gingerly put in the combination on her guitar case and flipped open the locks and opened the case. She took out the guitar, her hand perfectly molded to the neck. She pulled out the song book and a pen and her phone, She placed the phone on top of the closed case and took the cap of the pen off with her teeth and opened the book to her last page. The guitar was her favorite posession, it was a expensive one made of graphite. Priced at almost four thousand dollars, you bet your ass Gavin took care of it. It was her second guitar, she had her first one, which was a electric Les Paul hanging up in her apartment. She basically only used the acoustic one now. Running a hand through her dark hair, she reached over and picked up a pick and started playing, picking at notes. Her mind wandering some where else.
